Hi Mr. Mud...Been checking out your site, very nice Sir. Glad I found it,
now I see why your not as active on the other forums as you once were. And good to see Troy dropping in also, between you two and Kiplali and a few others is the only reason I've stayed active with the car sims..You guys do nice stuff !! Many thanks for many years of great enjoyment. Which brings me to...
Just discovered your 2cv mod and your Lienz gravel track...Lethal combination. LOL. These two wonderous items have caused me to resurrect rFactor back to the HD and given me a most serious case of rally fever.
The track is a work of art and a most enjoyable drive, thanks much. But when I first fired up a 2cv it had me thinking this must be some kind of joke.Nothing this slow could possibly make for any fun at all...How wrong that idea was. These have got to be the wildest ride in gaming, most challenging. They don't have the power or handling to make up for sloppy technique and require mass quantities of concentration and precision if you don't wanna get your butt kicked. Excellent racing. Excellent.
So I noticed on the site some wip's with some pretty old dates on them
and am curious of thier status and if I could be of any assistance. Not a modder of any sort but not to bad at trouble shooting and testing cars and such....would like to do what I could after all the pleasure you guys have given me. Just some thoughts....
Gonna get a few laps in before bed
Good nite gents,
Larry |

The F1600 mod was also released. I haven't been very active on any forums lately, but I do check into rFactor Central ( http://www.rfactorcentral.com/index.cfm ) frequently to check out new mods and WIPs. I am currently doing physics on a couple different mods.
And in real life, I have three cars that are constant projects. I am doing performance mods to my MGB and Galant (AKA Sapporo, AKA Scorpion) and am working on a fibreglass aero body for a Geo Metro. |
